Tennis Pro Jason Neri gives us the tennis tip of the week: the Slice Serve.

Hi this is Jason over here at TCSP, and today’s tennis tip of the week is the slice serve.

For the slice serve we always have to make sure we’re on a continental grip, that gives us more flexibility by hitting the ball with more control, the motion of the slice serve is similar as throwing a rock skipping it through a lake, so use that motion like if you are throwing a rock skipping over the lake. You start low and start moving up to serving motion.

So with the slice serve you can basically start practicing low, like you’re skipping rocks through the lake, then you add more motions as you start going higher, then after that you could reach up high and do your serve.
