 Common Health Issues Across a Woman’s Life

As women progress through life they face a variety of physical challenges. These may be due to pregnancy, post-partum, hormonal changes or gynecological diagnoses. Examples include incontinence, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, sacroiliac dysfunction, prolapse, and hypermobility. In this lecture, Molly will discuss these issues unique to females and how pelvic floor physical therapy can help you!

Presented By: Molly Riley, PT, DPT

Molly is a Seattle native who completed her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology with a focus in Exercise Physiology at the University of Oregon. She then worked for the University of Oregon as a Project Manager and Lab Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Control and Exercise Physiology labs. While she will always be interested in research, Molly discovered that her true passion was helping individuals heal and reach their unique goals. To fulfill this passion, she went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound.

Tom Spencer is the owner/clinical director of the Lake City clinic and has a passion for working with the active population, returning patients back to full function. He graduated from Central Washington University in 1990 with a degree in Independent Studies in Sports Medicine and Adaptive Physical Education.

Tom has an extensive history of sports experience, which includes being Head Athletic Trainer at Bellevue Community College for 18 years and at North Seattle Community College for 4 years. Additionally, he worked in Minor League baseball for 11 years with the Cincinatti Reds. Tom was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Seattle Storm for 11 seasons during which time they won 2 WNBA Championships.
