Tennis Professional

Jeff started playing tennis at the age of 9. He attended Decatur High School in Federal Way, where he became a Washington 4A State Champion in doubles and was ranked in the top 10 of the PNW section in junior competition.

After high school Jeff attended BYU-Hawaii playing tennis all 4 years and helped the team win the NCAA Division II National Championship. He was also awarded the scholar-athlete award 3 times. Jeff graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 2005 earning a degree in Exercise Sports Science with a minor degree in psychology. Jeff has coached with past USPTA president David Porter, and is USPTA certified.

Jeff has been coaching full time since 2005, and served as the head pro of Puyallup Bally’s Fitness Center. Jeff has helped numerous juniors prepare for college tennis in addition to working with USTA teams who have gone on to sectionals and nationals. Jeff most recently coached at the Lakewood Racquet Club. Jeff enjoys teaching and coaching players of all levels, and loves to share his passion for the great game of tennis.
