TCSP Adult USTA and Cup League Q&A
How do I get on a team?
The TCSP Team Coordinator can place your name on a waiting list of players looking for a team. When a team captain needs a player, the team coordinator will use this list to place players onto teams.
How do I form my own team?
TCSP Members looking to form and captain a team can put in a team request to the team coordinator 8 weeks before the league confirmation forms are due. Team requests will enter a lottery in the event that we receive more team requests than space available. Lottery dates and details can be found on our website.
How do I request a team practice time and coach?
Team practice times will go into the lottery at the same time as the team requests, or 8 weeks before league confirmation forms are due. Coach requests can be made at the same time but TCSP has the discretion to place coaches with teams as schedules allow.
How do I find more information on team tennis at TCSP?
Please check our website under USTA Leagues for TCSP Team guidelines, updated league dates and available team confirmation forms.
You’ll have a ball with this TCSPer, who celebrates his birthday August 30! He used to be the manager at the cafe, and now he’s one of our most talented pros. He comes from a tennis family, which includes his brother, Mike. Who is he?

US OPEN: If Serena captures the title in New York, she would also complete the calendar year Grand Slam – winning all four of the major tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open) in one calendar year – and join an elite group of only five singles players who have accomplished the feat. Who are they?

It is no mystery that trying to schedule a private lesson at TCSP has been challenging over the past year. Starting this August 31st, TCSP will have a liaison appointed for new private lesson inquiries and only members will be able to participate in private lessons. The lesson coordinator will help members looking for private lesson time connect with instructors that have certain lesson court times designated as revolving clients.
Revolving court times are new to TCSP and a way to allow more members opportunities to take a private lesson. As always, there will be a waiting list for members to put their name on which the coordinator will pull from. Revolving court times are not “Recurring” lessons for members to repeat on a weekly or any regular basis. A member can put their name down on the waiting list again if they were not able to be put in any type of regular small lesson rotation with an instructor.
