MORNING CLASSES

All Morning Classes will be open to all players in the program and will be run by coach Brian, Lawrence and Kyle McMorrow. Groups of players of similar ages and abilities will train together under the supervision of their coach/mentors as much as possible. We will make sure the level of each group is right, which may mean recommending a different training schedule for certain players. Players will be able to get a lot of individual attention during the morning classes. The training sessions are dictated by the theory of periodization training.

Tennis Training (Open to all HP Players)

AFTERNOON CLASSES

The tennis training is structured primarily as peer group training. Groups of players with similar ages and abilities will train together under the supervision of their coach/mentors as much as possible. The training sessions are dictated by the theory of periodization training.

SATURDAY MATCH PLAY

We strongly believe that getting intense and pressured match play on a regular basis is a key component of a successful training regimen. Players will be assigned to groups based on their rankings and level of play. We will be using different scoring systems to emphasize the concept of “play the score.” We will work on playing pressure points, building momentum, and closing out games when you are up.

FITNESS TRAINING

The coach/mentor will track fitness schedules and provide guidance to each player. Fitness classes are offered before and after all afternoon classes to accommodate players’ schedules. We will have specific focus on different fitness classes to add variety and also make sure players are developing all around physical skills.
