The Institute for Prostate Cancer Research is a partnership of scientists and doctors at UW Medicine and Fred Hutch. Led by Dr. Paul Lange, the efforts of this group are far-reaching and crossover to other forms of cancer, including breast cancer. The IPCR’s mission is to understand the causes of prostate cancer and its progression, develop new prevention strategies, devise innovative diagnostics and improve survival and quality of life.

Dr. Lange is an avid tennis player and helped start Hits for Health in 2016. The event has brought awareness to prostate cancer and with his help, has now brought another cancer cause to the courts in partnership with Dr. Julie R. Gralow.
